The South Central Ohio Educational Service Center (SCOESC) preschool intervention program provides comprehensive preschool services for 3-5 year olds to ten local school districts. These services range from integrated center-based classrooms that address the individual needs of each child to services delivered to children with disabilities in the child’s natural environment. These services are provided by a staff of certified early childhood intervention specialists, licensed speech/language pathologists, and physical and occupational therapists.
The SCOESC preschool program serves students who live in the following districts: Bloom-Vernon, Clay, Green, Minford, New Boston, Northwest, Valley, Washington-Nile, and Wheelersburg in Scioto County and Manchester Local School District in Adams County.
Center-based integrated classrooms are currently located at Bloom-Vernon Elementary, Minford Elementary, Stanton Primary, Northwest Elementary, Portsmouth West Elementary, Valley Elementary, and Manchester Elementary.
