Each year the ESC oversees Academic Competitions, using the Ohio Academic Competition format. The purpose of this competition is to encourage higher-order thinking, recognize outstanding achievement, and promote academic excellence among participating high school students. Approximately 150 -170 students participate in Academic Competitions, held weekly from September through December at the ESC.

 

For the 2024-25 league season teams may bring up to 12 students for competition (and up to 8 students for tournament).
