Become the Leader You Were Born to Be!

"Creating positive change is the best way to test whether a person can lead well...and everyone deserves to be led well."
--John C. Maxwell

Inspire
For over 40 years John has inspired audiences through his more than 70 books and his thousands of speaking engagements. We plan to continue John’s legacy of inspiring leaders. To inspire means to urge a person on to do something. It also means to “breathe into.” We aim to do both through the various resources on this website. We want to breathe new life into your leadership, urging you to dig deep and become a difference maker.
Challenge
We believe leadership is a privilege. It’s also a responsibility. It demands risk and accountability. We’re here to push you out of the box. No one said leading was easy. But you don’t have to do it alone. Let us come alongside you and push you toward the best you possible.
Equip
We’ll never inspire and challenge you without providing you with the knowledge and the tools to live out leadership. It’s why we exist. It’s what we do. It’s how we support your success: by equipping you to take our leadership teachings and apply them to your life. To your team. And to your organization.
The SCOESC Curriculum and Gifted Departments offer John Maxwell training based on the book Sometimes You Win, Sometimes You Learn.

The half-day, interactive training teaches students how to successfully navigate life's challenges and inevitable failures, using these experiences as positive opportunities for change and growth.

TESTIMONIALS
“The training was fantastic. One of the most powerful takeaways for me was the message that a leader’s focus is on mobilizing people and leveraging resources to achieve their goals. Leaders who want to succeed maximize every asset and resource they have for the benefit of their organization."
Jodi Armstrong, Superintendent, Green Local Schools
“The curriculum team utilized many of the leadership traits while introducing the group to the laws. The session left most of the group wanting more, not only for themselves but for their teams in the prospective districts. It was a very well-planned and professionally delivered training that any professional could use."
