March 2 - 2:00 to 5:00 PM
March 3 - 6:00 to 9:00 PM
March 4 - 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Concert at 7:00 PM
Music
The Scioto County Honors Music Festival is a long-standing tradition which has taken place for the past 81 years. Local Jr. High and High School music students audition or are nominated to become part of the Honors Band or Choir and are given the opportunity to learn from their peers, other music directors and visiting Guest Conductors.
Senior students who have participated in the Honors Music Festival for at least two years may also audition for a $1,000 Music Scholarship (there are two offered each year). The winners of the Scholarship Awards are announced during the Music Festival final performance.

The 2025 Scioto County Honors Music Festival Concert will take place on March 4 at 7:00 PM at the Vern Riffe Center for the Arts.
